We are looking for a Developer with strong interest in supporting business processes. Our Back Office commodity teams need IT support for all the solutions in place around market communication processes and to leverage opportunities to create new tools that help them to be more efficient and create a future oriented highly digitalised environment. Your future plans

• Developing, maintaining and supporting IT solutions based on business requirements in close interaction with the business teams using agile methods and test driven development techniques in a DevOps squad
• quickly developing a good working knowledge of the organisation and a thorough understanding of the Back Office business processes like clearing, settlements and confirmations, reconciliation of gas nominations and allocations and complex billing
• You want to have the chance to analyse business requirements and evaluate IT options to provide tactical and strategic solutions in close collaboration with the users
• Taking part in implementing new end-to-end software solutions and migrate existing solutions to new technologies and architectures e.g. from fat client to AWS
• Constantly looking for improvement opportunities through new technologies and business strategy
• Providing production support in line with the SLA and interact directly with the customers
• Contributing to the setting, monitoring and reviewing of personal development and performance objectives
  
  

Your Powerful Skills

• Thorough programming skills in object oriented languages like JAVA, .NET (core)
• Good understanding of CI/CD , including automated testing methodologies
• Good understanding of PostgresSQL, MSSQL, XML, XSLT, Webservices
• Interest in AWS Cloud technologies and modern web frontends like Blazor
• Experienced or interested in working in a fast changing environments using agile techniques like Scrum or Kanban in a DevOps squad
• A team player, able to collaborate effectively with team members across different locations
• Interested in end-2-end software development and taking ownership of all parts of the development lifecycle (Requirements Analysis, Implementation, Testing, Deployment, Running and maintaining a system)
• Understanding of the importance and methods for integrating security into our applications
• An effective communicator with excellent attention to detail who demonstrates effective problem ownership and the ability to present complex ideas (verbally / written) in German and English
