Our Financial Statements & Central Services function provide expertise for the whole Trading segment regarding IFRS segment reporting and local statutory accounts, treasury operations, accounting data services and central SAP support

You will be part of the Central SAP Team at RWE Supply & Trading (RWEST). The team provides SAP operation services for the whole Trading segment and is the main link to group SAP teams in RWE AG and other group companies.

You will be in an international team with approx. 6 team members based in the UK and Germany with firsthand experience on operations in SAP S4/HANA. Join a collaborative, social, open team with a very strong team spirit.

About The Role

• Governance and operational responsibility for commodity related master data within SAP.
• Main interface to external SAP IT, internal RWEST IT, group SAP and Endur / Business Engineering.
• First point of contact and coordinator in RWEST for all SAP related ad-hoc matters and SAP related projects.
• Steering improvements of the groupwide SAP solution in close collaboration with the SAP IT.
• Promptly addressing and executing ad-hoc requests from various business units to effectively meet their needs.
• Operational responsibility for RWEST user rights management in SAP.
• Product owner of RWEST SAP Solutions, esp. the MM and SD modules relating to commodity invoice flows within the segment and for dedicated other group companies, incl. all operational support, operational reporting, and stakeholder management.
  
  

Job Requirements And Experience

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Background in Accounting, Back Office and/or (SAP) IT.
• Technical knowledge of SAP (FI, MM and/or SD), and experienced in SAP change management and/or SAP operational support.
• Programming skills especially in the area of process automation (VBA, SQL, Python, No Code/Low Code scripting, UIPath, PowerAutomate, and/or alike).
• Basic knowledge of Accounting processes (accounts and ledger structures), SAP-related Back Office processes (settlements and payments) or Data Management principles.
• Previous experience in project and stakeholder management, ideally across functions and OpCos.
• Willingness to take over a responsible role in the SAP area (e.g. primary authorised requester).
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally.

• Agile project management skills.
• Knowledge of user right concepts in SAP.
