RWE Offshore Wind will play a central role in realising our purpose and vision so far being the No.2 generator globally. The company's 3,500+ experts operate more than 1.000 fixed bottom and floating wind turbines in 19 wind farms. And we plan to increase our capacity from the current 3.3 GW to 10 GW by 2030 (RWE's share). In connection with current projects in development as well as upcoming auctions in Europe, the United States, and the Asia-Pacific region, RWE Offshore Wind is preparing to implement further complex projects.

As a Working Student d/f/m in Central Procurement Processes & Systems, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable insights into an innovative and international procurement organization. Working closely with our global team, you will take on exciting and impactful tasks, allowing you to build hands-on experience in procurement while contributing to key projects.
About The Role
- Develop and refine procurement concepts, strategies, and methods, including AI integration for future digital procurement
- Analyze and improve procurement processes using tools like SAP Signavio
- Utilize data analytics (e.g., Power BI) to extract insights from procurement data
- Support the implementation of the eProcurement Suite (SAP Ariba) and the Vendor Management Systems (SAP Fieldglass) across the RWE group, ensuring smooth supplier integration and technical support
- Prepare procurement evaluations and presentations, and assist in creating executive decision-making documents
- Maintain and update process manuals, handling ad-hoc requests to support ongoing projects
- You are studying economics, business administration/informatics or industrial engineering with a focus on renewable energies and/or supply chain management or a comparable subject with good academic results
- Initial experience in procurement or consulting is a plus
- First SAP knowledge is an advantage
- High degree of independence, initiative, and team spirit
- Independent working style and analytical-conceptual approach
- Very good language skills in German and English as well as good knowledge of MS Office
- You will have a mentor who will support you during onboarding and in your daily work
