The Team – your impact

Within Expert Services, the d lab_ practice builds user-centric digital products and experiences. The Experience Design team is accountable for all our User Experience and Digital Marketing services & capabilities. The unit consists of 2 teams with 20 experts in Germany as well as 3 in Romania.

Your Role – meaningful & rewarding

• Lead our User Experience and Digital Marketing experts: Inspire UX researchers, designers, strategists and digital-marketing specialists, building a culture of curiosity and measurable impact.
• Champion user-centricity: Liaise with DT’s UX Center of Excellence to embed accessibility, user-centricity and UX standards across every product team.
• Shape and evolve our experience offerings: Define market-relevant UX & digital marketing services and accelerators, steer their development into repeatable toolkits and run data-driven feedback loops for continuous optimization.
• Partner in account success: Co-shape proposals and represent customer-value narratives with Head of Solution Delivery and other Expert Services peers in executive-level and steering-committee forums.
• Scale design ops: Establish scalable processes, tooling and governance that balance creativity with efficiency and compliance (e.g. brand and accessibility).
• Evangelize & measure excellence: Run trainings and thought-leadership, track experience KPIs and deliver actionable insights while ensuring seamless cross-functional delivery.
  
  
  

Your Profile – authentic & open-minded

• Background in Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Design, Psychology, Marketing, or related field.
• Proven leadership in creating end-to-end digital experiences within agencies or product-centric organizations as well as in an enterprise context.
• Successful track record in building & leading design and digital‑marketing teams, scaling design systems and evidence‑based optimization programs.
• Deep expertise in user research, interaction and visual design, accessibility, and digital marketing, with strong collaboration in cross-functional, agile/lean product teams.
• Skilled in translating research and data into impactful narratives for executive, technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong commercial acumen across budgeting, funnel economics, media spend and ROI modeling.
• Fluent in German and English; open to regular business travel.
