As a Senior Manager in the Brenntag Excellence team, you will act as a value enabler and strategic partner to senior leadership across the region. Your mission is to drive both step-change transformation and continuous improvement by applying a consulting mindset, leading strategic initiatives, and building internal capabilities. You will be an ambassador for change and improvement, operating at the heart of strategy and collaborating across countries, functions, and cultures in our EMEA organization. You will coach and lead a team of fully dedicated Black Belt project managers, as well as Green, Yellow, and White Belts across the business.

Our aim is to make Brenntag the easiest to do business with – for our customers, supply partners, and employees.

Your Role

  • Lead and deliver cross-functional transformation and continuous improvement projects with measurable business impact (e.g. cost, margin, service, productivity)
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, translating strategy into actionable initiatives and guiding decision-making through structured analysis
  • Coach and develop a high-performing Excellence community, including dedicated Black Belts and Green/Yellow/White Belts across the region
  • Facilitate workshops, capability-building sessions, and change interventions with strong engagement and outcomes
  • Drive deployment of Brenntag Excellence tools, templates, and practices while adapting them pragmatically to business needs
  • Foster knowledge sharing and best practice exchange across countries, functions, and Excellence networks
  • Conduct maturity assessments, identify improvement opportunities, and support local and regional prioritization of initiatives
  • Support the growth of a performance-oriented culture, promoting continuous improvement and hands-on execution at all levels

Your Profile

  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, or Black Belt with equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of business experience, with at least 5 years in transformation, performance improvement, or Lean roles
  • Background in consulting or strong internal consulting capabilities; able to structure problems and influence decision-making
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage credibly with senior management and frontline teams
  • Proven ability to coach, lead, and inspire diverse teams across regions and functions
  • Strong analytical skills; confident in data-driven storytelling and executive-level presentation
  • Fluent in English (mandatory); German, French, Spanish, or Italian are considered a plus
  • Willingness to travel across EMEA (:30–50%) depending on project needs
