Responsibilities / Main tasks
Your mission:
- Design, development and implementation of comprehensive data solutions with Microsoft Fabric
- Modeling, building, and optimizing data warehouses, lakehouses, and data flows within the fabric environment (e.g., OneLake, Data Factory)
- Create meaningful, interactive reports and dashboards with Power BI to visualize complex data and support business decisions
- Development and maintenance of scalable data pipelines with Python for processing, transforming and integrating data
- Development and optimization of DAX queries for sophisticated calculations and analyses
- Ensuring data quality, performance and governance of the developed solutions
- Advising our customers on the optimal use of Microsoft Fabric and Power BI for data analysis and process optimization
- Close collaboration with our customers and internal teams in agile projects
Qualifications / Requirements
What you should bring with you:
- Completed studies in (business) informatics, data science or a comparable qualification
- At least 2 years of professional experience in developing business intelligence solutions, ideally with a focus on Microsoft Power BI and initial experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Solid knowledge of Power BI (Power Query, DAX, data modeling, visualization)
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric components (e.g., OneLake, Data Factory, Notebooks, SQL Endpoints) or comparable cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure Data Factory)
- Good knowledge of SQL and experience with databases
- Knowledge of Python for data engineering is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach
- Experience with agile software development methods (e.g. Scrum)
- High quality awareness and reliability
- Strong communication skills, teamwork skills and a customer-oriented mindset
- Excellent German language skills (at least C1 level)
