The Team – your impact

The chapter Technology & Engineering - Platform Engineering represents all experts who deliver DevOps capabilities to all our product teams. These experts are organized together to enhance those functional skillsets, improve E.ON’s DevOps tech stack and deliver a high level of cloud automation.

The Cloud Landing Zone Domain provides a standardized, secure foundation for deploying and managing cloud environments, ensuring high performance, robust security, and automation of regular operations as well as governance baselines. This includes a self-healing platform for cloud managed systems, IaaS and PaaS automation APIs and self-service portals.

Your Role – meaningful & rewarding

• Build Infrastructure-as-Code solutions to host applications for various business units
• Gradually improve the infrastructure to keep applications healthy and within the SLO
• Be part of the incident response
• Migrate the existing landscape to GitOps practices
• Improve the global platform by developing custom constructs to better support different classes of applications
  
  
  

Your Profile – authentic & open-minded

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience in software development, DevOps and SRE practices
• Knowledge of the Kubernetes ecosystem, including experience with Crossplane or ArgoCD. Familiarity with the CNCF landscape is a plus
• Experience developing infrastructure software in Go
• Knowledge of Hyperscaler platforms, preferably Azure or AWS
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Fluent in English
