Solution Architect - Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (m/w/d) - #2226866

Your responsibilities

• As a Solution Architect, you will shape the technological foundation for our trading, finance, and logistics processes
• You will design and implement a scalable D365 FO architecture tailored to the specific needs of commodity trading
• Working closely with the Trading, Risk Management, Finance, and Operations teams, you will analyze business requirements and translate them into practical, effective solutions
• You will integrate D365 FO with specialized trading systems (e.g., ETRM/CTRM platforms) and external data sources (e.g., market data providers, exchanges)
• You will support the implementation of complex trading processes such as contract management, pricing formulas, inventory valuation, hedging, and settlement
• You will ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations (e.g., EMIR, REMIT, IFRS)
• You will lead data migrations, system integrations, and global rollouts
• You will assume technical leadership of interdisciplinary project teams and external partners
  
  
  

Your profile

• You hold a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field
• You have at least 7 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 FO, preferably in the commodities or energy sector
• You bring deep expertise in the Finance, Inventory, Logistics, and Project Management modules
• You have experience integrating D365 FO with CTRM systems, or are highly motivated to develop your skills in this area
• You are well-versed in the Power Platform, Azure services, and integration tools such as Logic Apps and the Data Management Framework
• You have strong analytical skills, a solid grasp of complex business processes, and the ability to maintain perspective even under pressure
• Ideally, you have experience with international trading structures, multi-entity environments, and the implementation of derivatives, hedging strategies, and risk valuation
• You communicate confidently in both German and English, with colleagues as well as stakeholders
