Senior Director Digital Operations & Product Management (m/f/d) - #2690522

Brenntag is transforming how digital capabilities support our global distribution and supply chain operations.

We are looking for an experienced leader to head our Digital Operations & Product Management capability, covering transportation, supply chain planning, fulfilment and emerging digital products.

You will combine a strong understanding of distribution and transportation operations with digital product leadership, working across business, technology and Data Science teams to turn operational priorities into scalable solutions and measurable business value.

Your Role

• Lead the global Digital Operations & Product Management portfolio and its product roadmaps and priorities.
• Further develop digital capabilities across transportation, supply chain planning, fulfilment and operational visibility.
• Lead products from business need through delivery, deployment, adoption and continuous improvement.
• Partner with global and regional Supply Chain leaders to identify priorities and drive value realisation.
• Lead an international team of Product Managers and Digital Operations specialists.
• Orchestrate delivery across Engineering, Data Science, BI, Architecture, ERP teams and strategic technology partners.
• Develop investment proposals and manage the portfolio against agreed budgets and outcomes.
• Identify and lead Applied AI opportunities across distribution and supply chain operations.
• Work with Data Scientists to translate operational challenges into practical AI use cases and scalable digital products.
  
  

Your Profile

• 10+ years of relevant experience in distribution, logistics, transportation, supply chain operations or related digital products and technology.
• Strong practical understanding of physical distribution and transportation operations.
• Proven experience leading digital transformation and implementing digital or operational technology in an international organisation.
• Strong product and portfolio management capabilities and experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience applying data science, optimisation, machine learning or AI to operational use cases.
• Strong business and financial acumen and the ability to engage effectively across business and technology.
• A pragmatic leadership style with the ability to simplify complexity and move initiatives from concept to adoption.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
