About The Role

• Preparation of standalone financial statements and relevant disclosures in accordance with HGB and IFRS.
• Coordinating reporting and accounting related matters for companies which are part of RWE Supply & Trading GmbH (RWEST) segment.
• Quality assurance and clarification of accounting issues in accordance with HGB and IFRS; preparation of comments for the managed companies and preparation of analyses and evaluations for management.
• Supporting consolidation process of RWE Supply & Trading GmbH (RWEST) segment.
• Providing support on external audit.
• Collaborating on projects, continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
• Engaging with various functions within the RWE group, including Controlling, Asset Accounting, and Tax departments to ensure cohesive operations.

Job Requirements And Experience

• Relevant accounting/ business administration qualification.
• Good knowledge of national and international accounting standards (HGB, IFRS).
• 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting, finance or Controlling.
• Fluent in German and Good command of English.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with all kind of Stakeholders.
• High level of commitment, initiative and ability to work in a Team.

Advantageous, but not a must

• Good knowledge of SAP FI / CO/ S4 Hana.
• Affinity for data analysis and process optimization.
